Windshadow app for iPhone and iPad

The Wind Shadow Lifting Tool is a mobile app. that allows you to conveniently calculate the corrected maximum wind speed for a desired crane lift item. It also allows you to display wind shadow profiles directly on your device from computational fluid dynamics models of different class structures that you have subscribed to on the Windshadow Tools website. From the app. these profile images can be downloaded and stored on your device so they are available even if you are performing a lift in an area with no signal. The app. supports both metric and imperial units. The wind shadow profiles will help give you a better understanding of how the wind is interacting with the structure you are lifting near for different wind speeds, angles and elevations. It may even allow you to perform lifts in conditions you might not otherwise if the models suggest there is a significant decrease in wind speed in your local area leeward of the structure.
